Be delighted at your luxurious accommodation on the shores of tranquil Lake Daylesford and at the scenic views over the picturesque Sailors Creek on a 12km (approximately) circuit walk the under magnificent gums.
Taste the nutrient rich bubbly mineral water at the many springs around Lake Daylesford and Tipperary Springs, and use the large stepping stones to cross Sailors Creek at Bryces Flat.
The 12km walk winds along Lake Daylesford and Sailors Creek, and follows the Goldfield Dry Diggings Track (formerly known as the Great Dividing Trail) within Hepburn Regional Park. Whilst walking imagine a bygone era as you pass old water races cut by miners’ last century and their abandoned goldfields. The deciduous trees will just be starting to change to a blaze of autumn colourand the indigenous paper daisies that dot the landscape will be starting to appear.
Rediscover your sense of self whilst practicing gentle yoga and immersing yourself in nature.
Drift off to a restful sleep after a day of bushwalking, eating nutritious food, practicing the ancient wisdom tradition of yoga, quietly gazing over the tranquil lake, making new friends and listening to relaxing live piano.
The yoga postures are suited to all body types, experience levels and ages. It doesn’t matter if you are a total beginner who can't touch their toes or an advanced yogi. Yoga Nidra, an amazing deep relaxation technique, and short meditations are also practiced.
The combination of activities offered over the weekend along with the clear, easy to understand directions and Annie’s friendly, calming persona will help you to slow down, reconnect, and find your place of inner peace, balance and stillness.
Your meals will be prepared by local caterers who are committed to the Slow Food philosophy and supporting local farming and communities. They use the very best quality local produce and lovingly create meals you will remember for all the right reasons. Sharing your food with an intimate small group of less than 8 people will enable you to from close relationships with other like minded people.
All meals and accommodation are included. The accommodation at Boatshed House on the idyllic shores of Lake Daylesford provides the perfect place to escape for a weekend away.
10% of any profit from this weekend will be donated to the Salvation Army to support those who are currently struggling in their lives.
Arrive Saturday from 3pm. Around 4.30 head outside into the fresh air to enjoy a group stroll around Lake Daylesford.
6.30pm Delicious Dinner
After dinner completely let go whilst being guided through a Yoga Nidra (a complete body relaxation which you do lying down).
On Sunday morning (7.30am) after a restful sleep connect mind, body and breath in a gentle yoga class, followed by a lazy nutritious breakfast.
10am walk out the front door and head off on our 12km walk. We will enjoy a simple nutritious picnic lunch along the way.
The afternoon is free to relax , rest, luxuriate in a spa bath and enjoy a guided Yoga Nidra
6.30pm Delicious Dinner
After dinner find some inner stillness through the harmony created by evocative piano.

9am another lazy healthy breakfast pack up
10.30 depart from the shores of Lake Daylesford and drive (in our own cars) to an authentic yoga ashram nestled in the Heart of Wombat State Forest only 15 minutes away. Soak up the ambient peaceful calming atmosphere in the Ashram gardens whilst enjoying morning tea, followed by a deep relaxing Yoga Nidra and wholesome lunch made with fresh produce grown in the Ashram garden.
After lunch we venture into the forest under the canopy of the tall trees for a forest bathing experience and a 4km walk.
